Built: Wilmington, NC 1833
Captains:  
Specifications: 140 tons; 103-feet long by 18.5-feet wide. The 40 to 50 horsepower engine was built by Watchman & Bratt, Baltimore, MD.
Notes: The steamer plied the Cape Fear River between 1833 and 1838. In the early years, its served as a passenger and mail steamer between Smithville and Wilmington, and then as a cargo steamer between Wilmington and Fayetteville. In later years, it was put into ferry service. In 1839, the vessel was moved to Savannah and burned that year at its mooring.
