Notes: Purchased by the Edenton Steam
Boat Co. (incorporated in 1818 by NC
legislature as Edenton & Plymouth Steam
Boat Co.) for $22,500. The steamer had
been built as a ferry. Left New York in
late Dec. 1818 and finally arrived in
Edenton. Started ferry service in late January 1819 and ran through summer 1821. Sold in
Jan. 1822 in Edenton for $5,016 to Norfolk
based owner and the steamer left the state.
Lost in 1825.
